KOH-JUTSU ~the answer of Japanese contemporary art

"KOH-JUTSU" presents the possibility of creating a new value system through the unique "technique" of the Japanese people, which is distinct from conventional art.

It is not based on exoticism, but rather on the presentation of artists who, through their training and discipline, seek to take Japanese art to a higher level, and to give concrete hints of its future.

Based on this concept, the exhibition "KOH-JUTSU" has been held continuously since 2009, with the artists and their works being updated. This is the first "homecoming" exhibition by Tsutomu Ikeuchi, director of "Roentgen," and "KOH-JUTSU" which became independent from Ikeuchi Bijutsu.
