Fine Art Auction -MEGURU-” Vol.16 Preview
KASHIMA ARTS
``Arts Auction -MEGURU-'' is a bidding auction that handles a wide variety of works, mainly Japanese art, from Japanese paintings to Western paintings, handwriting, and crafts.
Since its launch in 2019, it has grown as an art marketplace that introduces works received from exhibitors across the country to art lovers both domestically and internationally.
This year, the 16th time, we will be exhibiting 528 works, including masterpieces by Ito Jakuchu, Nagasawa Rousetsu, Kataoka Tamako, and Munakata Shiko.
Also featured are Watanabe Seitei, a master of flower and bird painting, and Yokoyama Taikan and Hishida Shunso, who laid the foundations of the modern Japanese art world. In addition, a wide range of works are gathered together, including the genius painter Maruyama Okyo of the late Edo period, Tsuguharu Fujita, a representative painter of the École de Paris, and historical greats Nanshu Saigo and Yoshinobu Tokugawa. To do.
At previews held at Kashima Art Gallery, the works will be displayed without glass cases, so you can see them up close.
This is a great opportunity to not only admire the works, but also check the condition and size of the actual items.
If you like the work, you can place a bid on the spot. No reservations are required, so feel free to drop by.
